Cornell History MASH

The Santa Monica Mountains are one of best kept secrets in Southern California. They have long served as a cloistered haven for the rich and famous while providing the backdrop for many famous Hollywood productions. Paramount Studios and Fox Studios used their ranches in the Santa Monica Mountains as back lots for numerous classics like Frankenstein with Boris Karloff , The Great Dictator starring Charlie Chaplin and the Getaway starring Steve McQueen. The old M*A*S*H* set, complete with helipad and gently rusting jeeps still remains and can be visited today. The area is so unique that the length of Mulholland between Paramount Ranch to the East and the World famous biker hangout, the Rock Store, to the South, is referred to as "The Three Magical Miles". And in the middle of all of this sits Cornell Winery, a place that brings the past to life while offering a glimpse into the future of California wine culture.
